Every major organ in Aaron's body had been placed on life support.

Staff explained that because Aaron was so very sick, it would take longer than the usual 24 hours to know whether he would pull through.

There wasn't a Doctor or Nurse who didn't care for Aaron as though he was their own.

It came down to whether or not his little body had the strength to fight off the infection.
