My name is Lorraine Downey and I'd like to share some Capital Fun with you.

You will find our retail products, as well as specific design for government and corporate clients, displayed here.

Our customised designs are sought by clients who require a professional and user friendly image. I really enjoy the process of interpreting the core message and market for each logo, illustration or product, and the evolution of those specific designs into stationery, advertising, publications and websites.

The retail range is readily identifiable because of its vibrant colours and whimsical drawings. It has two distinct categories; one features appealing Australian animal designs with warm, make-a-difference messages, the second is uniquely Canberran.

I believe it is important to spread the word that the nation's capital is a fascinating place to visit, and offers a wonderful lifestyle. The Capital Fun cards and magnets show people enjoying themselves set among many Canberra icons, and all of the details of activities are real (apart from Santa in odd situations). We love our lakes, bushland and parks, as well as the fabulous festivals, arts and dining and really do participate actively in them all. And they belong to all Australians. I lived abroad for many years (in government service) and thus can realistically compare our capital with others. Canberra is exceptional.

The Warm and Furry range of native animals provides a way of sharing some of the messages that have made a difference for me and make others smile. That's what Capital Fun is all about, enjoyment, so we hope we've helped you smile too!
