Accommodation 2 Luxury country cottages with a railway theme The cottages named "1210" and "1243" are located in the grounds of the Lavender Garden Tea Rooms. They are named after two well known NSW Heritage steam locomotives and blend in with other railway history and memorabilia including the 1884 Lake Bathurst Waiting Room which now houses the railway museum. Trains travelling to and from Sydney and Canberra use the railway line directly behind the cottages. "1210" has a queen sized bed complete with linen and electric blanket. "1243" has two single beds complete with linen and electric blanket. Completed in February 2003 and overlooking landscaped gardens, the cottages offer self-contained private accommodation for 2 couples, ideal for a special country escape or romantic getaway. Both cottages are spacious with large ensuite bathrooms and fully equipped kitchens, TV, gas heating and ceiling fans. Ensuites are complete with shower, vanity, toilet and heat lights. All towels supplied. Kitchens have a fridge with freezer, microwave oven, toaster, electric jug, cook top and frying pan. Utensils and tableware are provided. A complimentary breakfast basket is provided on the first morning. Covered verandahs are equipped with gas barbecues and provide magnificent views across the rural countryside and are the perfect place to unwind.
